The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd., is pleased to announce that BMW M Motorsport’s No. 77 BMW M4 GT3 EVO operated by race-participant Schubert Motorsport and equipped with YOKOHAMA ADVAN global flagship brand tires won the NLS Speed Trophy series championship, awarded to the team that accumulated the most points among teams in all classes over the entire Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS) held in Germany. As the series champion in the NLS premier SP9 Pro class, No. 77 also captured a KW Team Trophy, which is awarded to the car/team that accumulates the most points in each class.

Yokohama Rubber became an official partner of BMW M Motorsport for this season’s NLS, and the No. 77 BMW M4 GT3 EVO featured ADVAN coloring. Running on ADVAN tires, the No. 77 delivered consistently strong performances throughout this year’s 10-round*1 NLS, capturing two overall wins and two 2nd-place finishes. Yokohama Rubber’s ADVAN A005 (for dry conditions) and ADVAN A006 (for wet conditions) provided the excellent grip and durability that supported the No. 77 in all conditions as it battled with other cars in fiercely competitive NLS races. ADVAN-equipped cars also won the NLS Speed Trophy in 2020*2 and 2023.

In addition to the NLS, Yokohama Rubber teamed up with BMW M Motorsport in this year’s ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring held in May. The No. 77 ADVAN-colored car finished 8th overall and 7th in the SP9 class, while BMW M Motorsport's No. 81 BMW M3 Touring 24H, also running on ADVAN tires, finished 4th overall and 1st in the SP-X class.

The consumer tire strategy in Yokohama Rubber’s three-year (2024–2026) medium-term management plan, Yokohama Transformation 2026 (YX2026), aims to maximize the sales ratios of high-value-added tires by expanding sales of YOKOHAMA’s global flagship ADVAN brand, the GEOLANDAR brand of tires for SUVs and pickup trucks, winter tires, and 18-inch and larger tires. Yokohama Rubber positions participation in motorsports activities as crucial to its effort to further strengthen the ADVAN and GEOLANDAR brands. Yokohama Rubber therefore is again participating in a wide variety of motorsports events around the globe, from top-category to grassroots events.
