The Specialty Equipment Market Association named Dawson Druesedow of 4 Wheel Performance its 2026 SEMA Person of the Year and Tom's Refurb its 2026 SEMA Content Creator of the Year. SEMA announced the honors from Las Vegas on Nov. 6, 2026, after presenting the awards at SEMA Industry Honors during the 2026 SEMA Show.

SEMA said the awards recognize industry members for their leadership, service and contributions to the automotive aftermarket over the past year.

"Dawson and Tom have made a significant impact on the automotive aftermarket through industry leadership, hands-on expertise and authentic engagement with enthusiasts," said SEMA CEO Mike Spagnola. "Their work expands participation, strengthens the industry and inspires the next generation."

Druesedow founded 4 Wheel Performance in 2005 and has served on the SEMA Truck & Off-Road Alliance (TORA) Select Committee since 2017. He currently chairs that committee. SEMA said he also volunteers as a New Products Awards judge and supports SEMA Cares.

SEMA said Tom's Refurb has a combined following of roughly 2.4 million across YouTube, Instagram and TikTok, and is known for resurrecting abandoned muscle cars on a budget with mechanical skill and humor. The release listed the channels as tomsrefurb on YouTube, TikTok and Facebook, and @ogtomsrefurb on Instagram.

The 2026 SEMA Show ends Friday, Nov. 6. More information is available in the SEMA press release.
