Michelin has launched its first tubeless cycling tire, the Michelin Power Gravel tire. The new cycling tire is engineered to deliver excellent grip, performance and durability in a variety of cycling conditions. According to the company, the Power Gravel tire can tackle its rider’s favorite road or trail while giving the comfort and durability consumers would expect from a Michelin tire.

“With over a year of testing on trails in the U.S. and Canada, Power Gravel was designed to deliver the best tire for adventure enthusiasts,” said Shane Messner, Michelin two-wheel director for North America. “The new Gravel line combines the best of Michelin’s road tires with the strength of our mountain bike tires.”

The “Bead 2 Bead Protek” protects the whole tire casing and creates better strength for cyclists. Customers will experience more miles on the road or trail thanks to Michelin’s new exclusive X-Miles Compound rubber that extends the tire’s lifespan. The “Gravel Design” tread pattern features small blocks for low rolling resistance and excellent grip on mixed or changing terrains.
