Maxxis is showing its upcoming RAZR RT rugged-terrain tire at the 2026 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, with a planned launch in 2027. The tire is aimed at light trucks and SUVs and is built to balance aggressive off-road traction with quieter everyday highway driving.

Maxxis is exhibiting in booth 41086 in the South Hall lower level and booth 82002 in the Silver Lot.

What is new on the RAZR RT

The RAZR RT uses a new computer-aided tread design that Maxxis says improves off-road performance and gives a more aggressive look than the existing RAZR AT, while keeping tread pattern noise in a similar range.

Cross-plane circumferential grooves are meant to clear mud and gravel. Chamfered tread blocks and an alternating block layout are designed to disperse sound and cut unwanted noise. Extra grooves help move water away from the contact patch for wet-road traction.

Construction includes bead-to-bead three-ply casing with Maxxis double-cord technology for strength and puncture resistance, plus double-layer nylon reinforcement. Axe-shaped sidewall blocks add side traction and protection. A high-modulus apex compound and reinforced bead package are intended to manage heat and durability.

Sizes and related product

Sizes under development cover 16- through 22-inch wheels, including LT fitments and flotation sizes up to 37 inches. Maxxis has not said which sizes will ship at launch.

The company is also showing the RAZR ATHD, an upcoming all-terrain tire for heavy-duty trucks and vans, with reinforced three-ply construction, an Armor 2.0 sidewall and tread elements aimed at snow, slush and off-road use. Availability details for the ATHD have not been announced.
