BKT, the leading Off-Highway tyre manufacturer, will participate in the UK Plant Operator of the Year 2024 along with Kirkby Tyres, its distributor for the UK. The country's largest independent annual event in the construction industry will not only focus on the industry players competing for the highly coveted title of Plant Operator of the Year 2024, but also on key issues like technology, performance, and sustainability that are vital to the industry's progress.
The event, to be held on Saturday, 21 September, in Bircham Newton at the National Construction College (CITB). The training centre for operators in the construction industry, will open its doors to a new generation of plant operators, industry decision-makers, and future workforce to provide an overview of the technological developments shaping the world of construction. BKT's participation through the presence of Kirkby Tyres will be key in promoting the importance of having reliance on safe, high-performance and sustainable solutions, starting from tyres. Indeed, at the exhibition space, a wide range of BKT's flagship products for the construction sector will be on display, namely MULTIMAX MP 527 and MULTIMAX MP 522. These tyres for agro-industrial applications are perfect for loading and lifting operations on equipment such as telehandlers and skid-steer loaders.
