The new Apollo EVO hypercar will make its North American debut at the 2026 Concours at Wynn Las Vegas when the first production example, dubbed the ‘Caribbean Dragon’, appears alongside other icons of the Apollo Automobil stable.
Showcasing 20 years of Rebellious German Engineering, the EVO will follow its highly successful global debut at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed with another striking appearance alongside the record-breaking Gumpert Apollo and stunning Apollo Intensa Emozione.
Priced from €3 million, exclusive of local taxes and fees, the Apollo EVO is powered by a high-revving, naturally aspirated 6.3-litre V12 producing 800hp and 765NM of torque, propelling the 1,300kg car from 0-62mph in just 2.7 seconds and on to a top speed of 208mph.
In tandem with Apollo’s unique approach to interior design - typified by a driver-centric skeletonized structure – and the company’s signature exterior styling – as illustrated by the optional 3D-printed titanium ‘Dragon Skin’ exhaust – the EVO delivers a viscerally emotive experience unlike any other.
“North America has long been central to Apollo’s global vision,” said Niko Konta, CEO Apollo Automobil GmbH. “We are incredibly excited to introduce our new EVO to customers and fans alike, with the Concours at Wynn Las Vegas presenting the ideal opportunity following the success of our global debut at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.”
Apollo Automobil was founded as Gumpert Sportwagenmanufaktur in Germany in 2004. The brainchild of Roland Gumpert, a former director of Audi Sport who oversaw a golden era of motorsport success for the German brand. Production of its first model, the Gumpert Apollo, commenced in 2005, combining lightweight motorsport engineering with functional design to create a car unlike any before it.
The brand found international fame in 2008, when an Apollo S smashed the Top Gear power lap record, leaving established rivals in its wake. One year later it claimed an even greater accolade, with a 7:11.57 Nordschleife lap time breaking the previous benchmark by almost 11 seconds and remaining the target chased by competitors for nearly two years.
With Roland Gumpert having since passed the torch to new leadership the brand, now named Apollo in honour of his original vision, continues to be led by the same guiding principles of uncompromising performance, groundbreaking engineering, and an emotive driving experience. This has been recently exemplified by the 2017 Apollo Intensa Emozione (Apollo IE) and new Apollo EVO.
