With fuel economy and tread life its strong suits, Pirelli’s P4 Four Seasons all-season tire received a Top Pick designation from Consumer Reports in 2016. We check out this all-season touring tire that Pirelli says is dedicated to coupes, sedans and minivans.

Pirelli’s P4 Four Seasons can be found on Buick’s LaCrosse, Park Avenue, and Skylark, as well as Dodge’s Avenger, Caravan and Dart. It can also be found on Toyota’s Celica, Corolla, Avalon and Camry, plus the Sonata and Tucson from Hyundai. What Pirelli says about the P4 Four Seasons all-season tire
Pirelli says the P4 Four Seasons can go 90,000 miles. They say it is: “engineered to last longer and provide superior performance (and) created from innovative materials and processing (containing) over 18 different ingredients.“ According to Pirelli, the tire delivers fuel saving, comfort, and outstanding performance in all weather conditions.
Uniform Government and Independent Testing Results
The Pirelli P4 Four Seasons gets a Uniform Tire Quality Grading score of 760 for treadwear. Letter grades of “A” and “B” for traction and temperature resistance, respectively, were assigned. Consumer Reports gave it a score of 66.
Four Seasons received well-above-average marks in testing
CR gave it an “excellent” in rolling resistance because projections based upon their testing said the tires would last up to 100,000 miles. Marks of “very good” were received in hydroplaning, snow traction, ride comfort, noise and dry braking. Wet braking, ice braking and handling all tested as “good.” Consumer Reports said the P4 Four Seasons is “a well-rounded all-season tire and the longest-wearing tire Consumer Reports tested.”
