Yokohama Tire announced it is supplying its ‘Advan Sport V105’ tires to Porsche AG as original equipment (OE) for use on the Cayenne premium SUV.
Yokohama tires have been used as OE on Porsche’s Cayenne since the SUV was first introduced, with the new Cayenne the third model to be fitted with Yokohama tires. The Cayenne model comes equipped with 285/35ZR22 (106Y) size front tires and 315/30ZR22 (107Y) rear tires. The third model of the Cayenne has been sold globally since end of 2018.
The “Advan Sport V105” is a high-performance tire developed by Yokohama Rubber primarily for use on high-power premium automobiles. The tire delivers excellent driving performance combined with superior comfort and safety characteristics. The original equipped tire was developed together with Porsche and the “N0” mark on the side of each tire indicates Porsche’s approval of the tire.
