Toyota has turned five of its body-on-frame trucks and SUVs into tracked winter machines for the 2026 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. The Snowhunter concept family covers the Tundra, Tacoma, 4Runner, Land Cruiser and Sequoia, and each one swaps its wheels and tires for white powder-coated snow tracks.

Autoweek reported from the Toyota stand at the Las Vegas Convention Center, where the Snowhunter builds share space with the brand's Woodland adventure concepts. Read the full Autoweek report on the Snowhunter concepts.

A shared winter formula

According to Toyota, CALTY Design Research in Ann Arbor, Michigan, led the design of the lineup. All five wear bespoke Snowhunter camouflage and badging, gloss-black accents, Rigid lighting and lift components from Toyota Genuine Parts and TRD. Autoweek noted the trucks and SUVs sit roughly 2.5 to three inches higher than stock and carry roof racks from Prinsu and Thule.

Toyota says the concepts "embrace the adventurous spirit of winter." The company describes them as special project prototype vehicles.

Five builds, five roles

Tundra Snowhunter Concept: Positioned as a mobile basecamp, the full-size pickup carries the CALTY-designed Toyota TrailLift Pro rack system concept, TRD rear billet control arms, a Predator Step and extra lighting. The rack's articulating upper section lowers so that bulky gear such as bikes, kayaks and canoes is easier to load. Toyota's SEMA overview adds that the rack sits on a modular bed cap with a roll-up enclosure and removable side storage bins.

Tacoma Snowhunter Concept: The midsize pickup takes a more trail-focused approach, with a roof rack, a full-length bed rack with MOLLE panels, an awning, cargo storage, recovery equipment and bed lighting.

4Runner Snowhunter Concept: Built for longer backcountry trips, it adds Toyota Genuine rock rails, a Prinsu roof rack with accessory panels and a Thule Pulse 2 cargo box.

Land Cruiser Snowhunter Concept: This build gets Toyota Genuine rock rails and skid plates, a Prinsu roof rack with accessory panels and a Thule SnowPack ski rack.

Sequoia Snowhunter Concept: The largest SUV in the group pairs a TRD front skid plate and Toyota Genuine cast aluminum running boards with a Prinsu roof rack and a Thule Pulse 2 cargo box.

Part of a wider SEMA push

The Snowhunter family makes up the Snowy Terrain theme on Toyota's stand, one of four themed displays alongside Race Day, Urban Life and Off-Road. The stand also features the Woodland concept family and the Crown Signia GT-S Concept. As Autoweek pointed out, the display is a showcase for TRD and other accessory parts that owners can add to their own vehicles.

The 2026 SEMA Show runs Nov. 3 to 6 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Full details and images are in Toyota's Snowhunter announcement and its SEMA 2026 overview.
