The company’s largest box yet expands its lineup of solutions designed to grow as techs advance

Sonic Tools USA, a leading provider of professional-grade tool solutions and equipment, has announced the relaunch of its flagship NEXT S15 toolbox, the company’s largest storage solution to date, boasting 13 drawers and a load capacity of more than one ton. The S15 is designed to give technicians, shops, and fleets a single storage system that scales from a lean, mobile service cart to a full-capacity tool center.

As the ultimate storage solution on wheels, the Sonic NEXT S15 stands at 46.5 inches in height, 65 inches in width, and 26 inches in depth. The box is engineered for technicians who require an advanced toolset without sacrificing additional storage space. Professional-grade features include stylish molded bumpers, integrated side pockets, two spray can holders, and a paper roll holder.

The Sonic NEXT S15 also features several standard options that are rare in this class of toolbox. Each of the 13 drawers features ball-bearing slides with soft-close technology, along with the ability to fully open each drawer for quick and easy access to every tool. The advanced drawer-blocking system provides effective anti-tilt protection, while the stainless steel worktop with integrated side pockets comes standard to handle the rigors of any shop environment.

"With the S15, we set out to build the last toolbox our customers will ever need to upgrade," said Sanjay Patel, CCO, Sonic Tools USA. "It also makes upgrades seamless. If a tech previously used a smaller Sonic toolbox model, they can simply move their Sonic Foam Systems (SFS) to the new box without any modifications required."

Built to Scale With You

The S15 spans the full range of a technician’s needs, from compact, quick-service carts built for speed and mobility, to large-format tool storage units built for high-volume service and repair shops.

As users upgrade to the S15, drawer capacity increases, allowing shops to tailor storage density to their space and workflow without switching systems. Each drawer fits two medium foams, making the transition from smaller toolboxes seamless.

Smarter Foam Organization

The relaunch also introduces a redesigned foam insert system built for flexibility and continuity:

Modular Scaling: Two medium foam inserts combine to form one large foam insert, giving users a modular way to scale organization as their tool collection grows.
Legacy Compatibility: Existing foam inserts transfer directly into the larger S15 case, so customers upgrading from earlier setups can carry their current foam organization system forward, with no need to rebuild tool layouts and box configurations from scratch.

Together, these features reflect Sonic Tools USA’s focus on protecting customers' existing investment in their tools and organization systems, even as their storage needs grow.
