Uniroyal Tires has launched two new products, the ultra-high-performance Tiger Paw GTZ All-Season 2 and the all-terrain Laredo AWT 3. Long known for manufacturing dependable tires at a great value for consumers, Uniroyal is supporting the new products with improved mileage warranties.

The Tiger Paw GTZ All-Season 2 is the next-generation ultra-high-performance tire from Uniroyal. The tire will have 10 more sizes available than its predecessor, covering 82 percent of the ultra-high-performance market. The 42 sizes in the range will be available in rim diameters from 16 to 20 inches.

The Tiger Paw GTZ All-Season 2 offers the following technologies for everyday driving confidence:

Uniroyal's Tru-Last technology, which is designed to distribute stress evenly across the tire footprint for consistent wear

Wide circumferential tread grooves which help provide better performance in rain

Traction snow bars that are designed to compact loose snow for outstanding starting and stopping

New all-season rubber compound, which helps with wet traction

The tire also features an upgraded speed rating on select sizes. Previously a "W" rating for all sizes, the new tire offers an available "Y" speed rating on certain sizes for high-performance sports cars capable of speeds up to 186 mph. To give consumers more confidence with the Tiger Paw GTZ All-Season 2, the tire features a 50,000-mile warranty, including fitments with a "Y" speed rating.

"The Tiger Paw GTZ All-Season 2 represents an unprecedented combination of performance and value offered by the Uniroyal brand. The increased speed rating, warranty and range of available sizes on our next-generation ultra-high-performance tire will reach an underserved segment of performance drivers," said Alonso Tiscareno, brand director for Uniroyal, a unit of Michelin North America.

The Laredo AWT 3 brings Uniroyal consumers an affordable all-terrain tire that delivers outstanding performance on- and off-road. The tire provides dependable all-terrain traction at a reasonable price, and is backed by a 50,000-mile warranty.

"The Laredo AWT 3 demonstrates Uniroyal's commitment to increase all-terrain tire offerings. We want to offer a tire that performs on- and off-road and delivers the Uniroyal value our consumers expect," Tiscareno said.
