Hercules Tire is making their warranty coverage on the Terra Trac AT tire line even stronger. They’re also adding four new sizes to the Terra Trac range — in a bid to make their product line more appealing to dealers and enthusiasts alike.

Expanded Warranty Coverage Sets Industry Standard

The warranty enhancements are to the Road Hazard Protection Program, materials coverage, 30-Day Test Drive Program, and materials and workmanship coverage of the company’s current warranty. These enhancements will make their warranty coverage even beefier than it already is for their light truck and passenger car tire lines.

The range of Hercules products covered will be expanded and consumers will receive better coverage. These enhancements include:

• Every tire sold by the company is now covered by the Road Hazard Protection Program. This means any tire they sell will be replaced during the first 50 percent of the tread life if the tire fails due to a road hazard when used on-road.

• The company will also give consumers a new tire if the tire fails during the first 50 percent of tread usage due to failures of either materials or workmanship.

• All premium positioned tires, which include all light truck tires, are part of Hercules’ 30-Day Trust Our Ride Test Drive Program. This program allows dealers to recommend Hercules tires with confidence because it gives consumers a chance to real-world test the tires and exchange them if not satisfied.

Terra Trac AT Line Expanded

Hercules Tire dealers will now be able to recommend four new tire sizes to cover more vehicles, especially those with large aftermarket wheels. Three new 18-inch wheel sizes will be added, as well as one for 20-inch wheels. These are:

• LT265/65R18/10
• LT305/65R18/10
• 35X12.50R18LT/10
• 35X12.50R20LY/10

The Terra Trac AT line’s LT315/70R17 will also have its load range upgraded from a D to an E very soon.

Terra Trac Selling Points

Hercules says the Terra Trac AT II delivers “outstanding wear resistance and aggressive aesthetics”. Extreme traction is delivered thanks to the tire’s heavy siping and the Hercules-exclusive silica-infused AT-C compound. All light truck and SUV sizes offer a 60,000 mile treadwear warranty, plus the all-new, expanded Hercules warranty coverage described above.
