NEXEN TIRE, a leading global tire manufacturer, announced that it has recently opened an additional distribution center in Perth, the largest hub city in Western Australia, strengthening its logistics infrastructure. The company plans to significantly expand its supply capabilities in the steadily growing Australian market and further solidify its brand presence there.

NEXEN TIRE has established logistics bases in major cities on the east coast, including Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. With the opening of the Perth center, the company has extended its supply network to Western Australia, further strengthening its nationwide distribution network. Through this expansion, NEXEN TIRE will provide faster and more reliable product supply to dealers and consumers across the nation. By improving local inventory management, the company will significantly reduce logistics lead times and enhance its ability to respond quickly to changes in market demand, further strengthening its competitiveness in the local market.

NEXEN TIRE has officially introduced Shop Branding, a program that applies its brand identity to partner stores, in the Australian market and plans to expand it further. Store signage, interiors and displays will feature a unified design centered on NEXEN TIRE's signature purple, providing Australian consumers a consistent brand experience.

NEXEN TIRE also continues to build brand awareness through sports marketing. The company has been an official sponsor of Sydney FC, an Australian A-League football club, since the 2024/25 season. The sponsorship will continue into the 2026/27 season, which kicks off on October 16.

The Australian subsidiary also continues on its growth trajectory. NEXEN TIRE has positioned Australia as a strategic market and has steadily expanded its local business. In the first half of this year, revenue at the Australian subsidiary increased by over 50 percent year-on-year, more than doubling compared with the first half of 2024.

By expanding its distribution network alongside locally tailored marketing activities, NEXEN TIRE is strengthening its business foundation in the Australian market. Building on the technological expertise and quality capabilities it has developed through supplying original equipment (OE) tires to leading global premium automakers, the company plans to continue strengthening its engagement with Australian consumers.

"With the opening of this distribution center, we have secured a foundation to supply our products more reliably beyond the east coast," said John Bosco (Hyeon Suk) Kim, CEO of NEXEN TIRE. "We will strengthen both our distribution network and brand marketing to continue expanding our presence in the Australian market."
