Just off Route 1, in the area long known as the Automile, Norwood drivers have a new place to get expert tire and automotive care. The new Goodyear Auto Service store, located at 981 Boston Providence Hwy., held its grand opening ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, Sept. 30.

The new Norwood location carries Goodyear and Cooper tires, giving drivers trusted options for their vehicle, budget and driving needs. Goodyear products include the Goodyear Eagle F1 All Season for year-round performance; Goodyear Wrangler Steadfast HT for reliability and comfort; Goodyear Assurance WeatherReady 2 for all-weather driving; and Goodyear ElectricDrive 2 for EV-focused performance.

The Norwood store offers:

Tire sales and installation
Oil changes
Alignments
Brake service
Battery replacement
Air conditioning service
Preventive maintenance

“Backed by more than 125 years of expertise, our Goodyear team is ready to help customers choose the right tires and provide the service their vehicles need to get them where they’re going with confidence. We’re committed to exceptional customer service and top-quality products, and we look forward to building lasting relationships with Norwood-area drivers and their vehicles,” said Marsha Nelson, store manager.

Thousands of commuters put steady miles on their tires along Route 1, and cooler weather makes tire care matter even more. Norwood drivers can stop in for a free tire air pressure check or a free tire consultation. The team can also handle alignments, tire rotation, wheel balancing and a TPMS check.

Norwood drivers can also save at the new store right now. Customers who buy and install select Goodyear and Cooper tires through Nov. 30 can receive up to $200 back with the Goodyear Credit Card. Additionally, customers who buy four Cooper Endeavor or Endeavor Plus tires get the fourth free through Oct. 31, and a full-synthetic oil change is $69.99 through Dec. 1 at participating locations. Qualifying oil changes and services also earn up to $20 back in Valvoline rebates through Dec. 31.

The Norwood store is open Monday through Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. To schedule an appointment, go to goodyear.com or call the store at 781-222-3994.
