ALLDATA®, an AutoZone® company and the industry's leading provider of OEM repair information, has announced new enhancements to ALLDATA Repair Planner™, giving collision repair facilities new tools to identify OEM-required procedures, strengthen repair documentation, and create more complete repair plans.

ALLDATA Repair Planner helps collision repairers connect OEM repair information directly to the estimating process. Users can import estimates directly from the CCC Secure Share™ Network or upload estimates from Mitchell and Audatex to quickly identify manufacturer-required repair operations, attach supporting OEM procedures, and document research throughout the repair planning process.

Together, ALLDATA Collision® and Repair Planner help shops reduce time spent searching for information, identify frequently missed operations, and create a repair plan backed by factory-correct OEM documentation.

A More Complete Repair Plan With Less Searching

As vehicle technology becomes increasingly complex, repair planners and technicians often spend valuable time researching OEM procedures and documenting why certain operations are required. Missing a procedure can lead to delays, supplement requests, or incomplete repairs.

Repair Planner is a timesaving tool that integrates seamlessly with ALLDATA Collision’s repair platform and streamlines the process by connecting OEM information directly to the estimate, helping shops identify required procedures, document repairs, and support conversations with insurers.

New enhancements include:

Downloadable Repair Documentation: Compile relevant OEM repair procedures into a downloadable PDF for the repair file.
OEM Articles on Estimates: Attach applicable OEM articles directly to estimate line items to strengthen documentation and explain required repair operations.
Article Tracking and Audit Trail: Record viewed OEM articles, users, and timestamps to create a complete audit trail of repair research.
Estimate Assist: Identify commonly overlooked line items to strengthen blueprinting, reduce liability, and improve OEM compliance.

"Collision repairers should not have to choose between efficient planning and access to complete OEM information," said Satwinder Mangat, President of ALLDATA. "ALLDATA Collision provides the unedited procedures shops rely on, while Repair Planner brings that information directly into the repair planning process. These enhancements make it easier to identify manufacturer-required procedures, document why each operation is necessary, and give technicians the information they need to complete the repair correctly."

Unedited OEM Information for Today’s Collision Repairs

A complete repair plan starts with the right OEM information. As vehicles incorporate more advanced materials, electronics, and driver assistance systems, repair decisions increasingly depend on vehicle-specific OEM procedures. ALLDATA Collision, trusted by 76% of collision shops as their primary resource for repair procedures,* gives repairers direct access to unedited OEM information in a single platform, including repair procedures, complete mechanical and diagnostic information, ADAS Quick Reference, and OEM position statements.

When used together, ALLDATA Collision and Repair Planner help shops move from estimate to repair plan faster by bringing OEM-required information into the workflow where repair decisions are made.

Shops are already seeing the benefits of the latest Repair Planner enhancements.

“When I came back to ALLDATA, it was for one reason, and it was for the Repair Planner," said Tony Holguin, general manager of Elk Grove Certified Collision Center, Elk Grove, Calif. "Before, we would spend 20 minutes to an hour searching for procedures, depending on the job and the make and model. Now I can spend two minutes to 20 minutes, depending on what we need.”

SEMA 2026 attendees can experience ALLDATA Collision and the latest Repair Planner enhancements at the ALLDATA booths in the Upper South Hall, booth 31061, and North Hall, booth 11145, Nov. 3-6 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
