TOPDON USA introduced two new diagnostic tools for professional technicians at a press conference during the 2026 SEMA Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Booth 37183. The company unveiled the DUO X prototype, a dual-system workstation that pairs professional diagnostics with Windows-based OE programming, and the ONE Pro, the latest addition to its ONE series. Both are also on display at AAPEX booth V5513 at the Venetian Expo, Nov. 3-5.

"Our new DUO X workstation represents a bold new direction in professional automotive diagnostics for TOPDON," said Chad Schnitz, vice president of TOPDON USA. "We believe the DUO X will give technicians greater flexibility and capability as they tackle increasingly complex vehicle systems."

DUO X and ONE Pro

The DUO X is scheduled for release in the first half of 2027. In Android tablet mode, it offers full-system diagnostics, ECU programming, coding, and one-click customization for more than 10 vehicle makes. In Windows mode, it supports OE-level J2534 pass-thru programming and OE diagnostics through the RLink platform. TOPDON says the unit transitions from a diagnostic tablet to a laptop-style programming workstation for shop flexibility.

The ONE Pro features a 12-inch display and offers full-system ECU programming, coding, and one-click customization for more than 10 makes. It includes one year of Identifix Direct-Hit Pro and is available through TOPDON's national distribution network.

Techs of Tomorrow scholarships

TOPDON also highlighted its Techs of Tomorrow scholarship program, which awards four scholarships totaling $37,000 to students pursuing automotive technology careers. The program was announced Oct. 28 and is accepting applications for the fall 2027 semester. Details and applications are at the Techs of Tomorrow scholarship page.

"Investing in the next generation of automotive technicians is essential to the future of our industry," said Justin Herald, director of marketing at TOPDON USA.

TOPDON USA was founded in 2017 and is based in Fairfield, New Jersey. More on the announcement is at topdon.us.
