TBC Corporation has added four tire lines to its Multi-Mile brand and upgraded the warranty program that comes with it. The company said the expanded portfolio now covers more than 85% of the vehicle market.

TBC, which is based in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, announced the changes on Oct. 7. It positions Multi-Mile as a value step-up brand for the dealers it supplies, and said the wider range and added consumer benefits are meant to give dealers more options while supporting stronger retail margins.

Four new lines

TBC said the new lines cover the following applications:

Rugged-terrain and mud-terrain tires use self-cleaning treads designed to eject mud and stones, and TBC said they provide on- and off-road traction.

Commercial C-metric specialty tires are aimed at heavy-duty regional and long-haul trucks.

All-weather tires carry the 3-Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMSF) severe snow certification and are built for high mileage and year-round use.

They join the brand’s existing touring, high-performance and broad-line tires for passenger cars, light trucks and SUVs. TBC did not name the individual new lines or list sizes in its announcement.

Mile After Mile Protection Plan

TBC has also expanded the Multi-Mile warranty program, called the Mile After Mile Protection Plan. Coverage now includes three-year roadside assistance, a three-year road hazard protection plan and a 60-day ride guarantee, in addition to the brand’s treadwear warranties.

The company has offered road hazard coverage on Multi-Mile before. In 2020, TBC Brands introduced a one-year road hazard protection plan at no added cost on select passenger and light truck lines, including Multi-Mile.

“For more than 70 years, Multi-Mile products have offered cost-efficient, reliable and durable tire options that enhance safety and performance,” said Rachel Tibor, chief marketing officer for TBC Wholesale. “With this expanded portfolio, Multi-Mile strengthens its position as a value step-up brand, giving dealers more opportunities to meet evolving consumer needs while offering a product mix designed to support stronger retail margins. We’re continuing our long-standing tradition of supplying the right products at the right time for every type of vehicle and application.”

Tibor was promoted to chief marketing officer, wholesale earlier this year. Dealers who want more information can contact their TBC Wholesale account lead or call 1-866-822-4968.
