ROADIAN GTX all-season tires in 19-inch fitment selected for Renault FILANTE
Supply covers both domestic Korean market and export models destined for Latin America and the Middle East

NEXEN TIRE, a leading global tire manufacturer, announced that it is supplying original equipment (OE) tires for the Renault FILANTE, a crossover model produced by Renault Korea.

The Renault FILANTE is a crossover vehicle that combines the characteristics of a sedan and an SUV, equipped with Renault Korea's latest hybrid powertrain. Hybrid vehicles place elevated technical demands on tires due to the simultaneous use of an electric motor and an internal combustion engine, and NEXEN TIRE's selection for this model reflects the company's proven ability to deliver tire solutions optimized for diverse powertrain types. Notably, the supply covers not only vehicles sold in the Korean domestic market but also export models destined for Latin America and the Middle East.

The supplied tire is the ROADIAN GTX, NEXEN TIRE's all-season tire designed for SUVs and crossover utility vehicles (CUVs), fitted in a 19-inch specification. Engineered to deliver reliable all-season driving performance, the ROADIAN GTX features a zigzag tread design across a wide contact patch that distributes road pressure evenly to support stable handling. A precision load distribution structure enhances road grip, while a low-noise-optimized block arrangement ensures the ride quietness demanded by electrified vehicles.

This supply further deepens NEXEN TIRE's growing partnership with Renault Korea, following the company's OE fitment for the Grand Koleos mid-size SUV launched in 2024. Since entering the overseas OE market in 2012, NEXEN TIRE has established itself as a key supplier to a broad range of global automakers. Building on this foundation, since 2016, NEXEN TIRE has continued to demonstrate its technological capabilities by partnering with a number of premium global brands across Europe and beyond.

"We are continuously advancing our tire technology to keep pace with the next generation of mobility, where electrification and artificial intelligence are converging," said John Bosco (Hyeon Suk) Kim, CEO of NEXEN TIRE. "We will further strengthen our strategic partnerships with global automakers to solidify our presence in international markets and enhance the company's overall value."
