New tire offerings designed to enhance efficiency, reduce soil compaction and improve profitability for farmers and contractors.

MAXAM Tire continues to elevate the standard in agricultural tire solutions, unveiling both new VF sizes within the AgriXtra product line and introducing the all-new MS971R tire. These innovations are engineered to help farmers, growers, and contractors worldwide enhance efficiency, reduce soil compaction, and improve overall profitability in an ever-evolving agricultural environment.

Introducing the MS971R “TracXtra” product line delivering Durability, Versatility, and Efficiency

The new MS971R TracXtra has been designed to meet the multifaceted needs of today’s farming operations and multi-surface work environments of agro-industrial applications. Combining a robust casing structure with steel-belted radial construction, the new TracXtra has been engineered to excel across a variety of terrains to include in the field, on highway, or in challenging on/off-road conditions. The MS971R delivers uniform ground pressure and reduced rolling resistance, ensures superior traction without compromising the required endurance. This next generation multi-surface tire features a unique blend of durability coupled with an innovative tread design that will ensure comfort as well as the energy efficiency to deliver improved productivity regardless of surface or work application.

MS971R Key Features & Benefits:

Durability and Versatility

Reinforced Steel-Belted Radial Construction: Offers uniform ground contact for reliable traction and extended tire life.
Radial MPT (R-4) Tread Depth: Ensures consistent performance in multi-surface agroindustrial working conditions without compromising traction nor endurance.

Efficiency and Comfort

Optimized Rolling Resistance: Improves fuel efficiency and helps reduce overall operating costs.
Reduced Noise & Vibration: Enhances operator comfort, reducing fatigue during long workdays.

Performance and Handling

All-Season Traction & Self-Cleaning Design: Delivers confidence and stability on wet, dry, or uneven surfaces.
Stability & Precise Handling: Provides better control and maneuverability, crucial for work in confined areas.
High Speed and Load Capacity: D-rated high-speed tires engineered to meet the requirements of multi-surface agro-industrial applications.

Expanding VF Technology within the AgriXtra Product Line

Alongside the MS971R introduction, MAXAM Tire is bolstering its VF technology presence across the AgriXtra N, H, and XL series. These new VF sizes allow operators to either carry 40% more load at standard air pressures or reduce pressure by 40% for the same load, delivering exceptional versatility. By increasing load capacity or decreasing tire inflation pressure, MAXAM helps farmers and growers minimize soil compaction, improve traction, save fuel, and ultimately increase efficiency.

AgriXtra 85 (VF580/85R42): Designed for large Combine Harvesters operating dual drive tires found in “Row Crop” farming, this new size offer with its enhanced load carrying capacity was engineered to deliver an improved product solution for 30” crop rows agricultural equipment.
AgriXtra N (VF420/95R50): Ideal for large self-propelled high-clearance sprayers and tractors. With a 45° lug profile, it ensures excellent traction and reduced vibration during roading, enabling higher productivity while maintaining lower soil compaction.
AgriXtra H (VF750/65R25, VF520/80R26, VF620/70R26): Engineered for heavy-load steer axles of harvesters, the AgriXtra H’s self-cleaning, extra-wide tread design and sturdy radial steelbelted construction provide even greater flotation, improved performance, and less soil disturbance.
AgriXtra XL (e.g., VF900/60R42): Tailored for large mechanical front wheel drive tractors, this flotation solution enables higher load capacity at reduced pressures, promoting maximum productivity both on the field and on the road.

MAXAM’s Commitment to Innovation and Reliability

By integrating advanced VF technology into the AgriXtra range and introducing the MS971R, MAXAM Tire demonstrates its unwavering dedication to meeting the evolving demands of modern agriculture. In addition, each tire is backed by an 8-year warranty, ensuring customers can invest confidently in products designed to boost their long-term productivity.

“Our expansion of VF technology within the AgriXtra product lines and the launch of the MS971R reflect MAXAM’s commitment to delivering innovative, reliable solutions that align with the real-world challenges farmers and growers face,” said Greg Gilland, Vice President of Global Agriculture at MAXAM Tire. “We recognize the immense effort that goes into maximizing yield and productivity, and we are committed to developing products that make this work easier, more efficient, and more sustainable.”
