Nokian appoints new Great Plains territory manager

Nokian Tyres has announced Glen Hutson will be the new Great Plains territory manager for Nokian Tyres North America.

Hutson will serve as commercial sales lead and coordinate sales efforts in Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas, Texas, Arkansas and Louisiana.

Hutson will be familiar to some readers from his previous sales and management roles at Trelleborg Agricultural Tires and American Tire Distributors. He also formerly owned and operated Hutson Automotive Equipment.

Experience right for Great Plains

Nokian Tyres North America president Tommi Heinonen said: “Glen’s track record of success working for a tire manufacturer and a tire distributor will help him expand Nokian Tyres’ sales network for commercial tires in his territory.”

Heinonen said Hutson’s appointment is an example of Nokian Tyres’ focus on its commercial customers, ensuring the full line of commercial products is available throughout North America.

Nokian catering to demands of Great Plains industry

The company said the Nokian Tyres TRI 2 tractor tire and Country King agricultural trailer tire are “well suited to the needs of the Great Plains region because they have the versatility to perform well in the field and on the road.”

It said the new Logger King LS-2 skidder tire was “designed to hold up to the weight of the new heavier forestry equipment, helping the tires last longer in the extreme conditions of modern logging.”
