TBC Corporation, a leader in the mobility industry and one of North America’s largest marketers of automotive replacement tires through wholesale and franchise operations, announced today that its subsidiary, Big O Tires, has been named number one in Entrepreneur Magazine’s Wheels and Tires category for the fourth consecutive year, as part of the magazine’s annual Franchise 500® ranking.

The franchise ranking is the world’s first and most comprehensive, celebrating the top 500 franchise organizations for outstanding performance in unit growth, financial strength and stability, and brand power. This is the 11th time Big O Tires has been named number one in this category since 2001, highlighting its strength as a franchise opportunity, its dedication to supporting its franchisees, and its unmatched tire distribution and supply chain network through its affiliation with TBC.

“At Big O Tires, we take immense pride in our reputation and are honored to be recognized once again as a brand that customers can trust for high-quality tires and automotive care,” said Gary Skidmore, chief operating officer at Big O Tires. “This ranking demonstrates our commitment to supporting our franchisees with the training, resources, and guidance they need to grow their businesses and continue delivering expert service to their customers.”

In developing the Franchise 500®, Entrepreneur’s editorial team researches and assesses several factors, including costs and fees, size and growth, support, brand strength, and financial strength and stability. Each franchise is given a cumulative score based on an analysis of more than 150 data points, and the 500 franchises with the highest cumulative scores are ranked in the Franchise 500®.

"For 47 years, the Franchise 500 has been the gold standard for identifying franchise excellence. This year's ranking proves that the best brands don't just survive changing markets; they thrive in them," says Jason Feifer, Entrepreneur magazine's editor in chief. "These 500 companies represent some of the most reliable pathways to business ownership in America, each one vetted through our rigorous analysis of what actually drives franchisee success."

Big O Tires ranked 131 overall, and the full list of rankings is available here. Results are also available in the January/February 2026 issue of Entrepreneur.
