Big O Tires and Midas Recognized as Industry Leaders in Franchising

TBC Corporation (“TBC”), a leader in the mobility industry and one of North America’s largest marketers of automotive replacement tires through wholesale and franchise operations, is pleased to announce that its subsidiaries, Big O Tires and Midas, were named to FranServe, Inc.’s Fran-tastic Brands list for 2025, a distinction the brands have earned since 2020. This annual list recognizes franchise brands that are leaders in their respective industries and go above and beyond to help franchisees achieve their dreams of business ownership.

FranServe, a leading franchise consulting and expansion organization, selected franchise brands for recognition based on criteria including responsible franchising, turnkey model, operational support, superb training, and more.

“Franchising helps people change their lives, and we see that every day. So many people don’t know that franchising is made up of small business owners — the business model truly celebrates entrepreneurs and business growth,” said Alesia Visconti, CEO & president of FranServe Inc. “Brands that make the 2025 FranServe Fran-tastic Brands list value people taking control of their future through business ownership. We are recognizing these Fran-tastic brands for going the extra mile in supporting their franchisees and for adhering to responsible franchising!”

“Earning recognition from FranServe, Inc. as a leading franchise brand is a significant and exciting achievement," said Gary Skidmore, senior vice president and chief operating officer of Big O Tires. "We’re committed to fostering strong working relationships with franchisees to achieve mutual success and continuing to deliver the legendary service Big O Tires is known for.”

“For nearly 70 years, we’ve been helping hardworking entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds open and grow their own Midas franchise locations to serve communities across the United States and Canada,” said Lenny Valentino, Jr., president & chief operating officer of Midas. “It’s an honor to be recognized for our commitment to their success and we’re excited for the future of our brand.”
