BKT Tires Canada announce an Off-The-Road (OTR) tire supply alliance with Fountain Tire. Effective immediately, Fountain Tire will have full access to BKT’s OTR product line-up for sale through its locations across Canada.

“This alliance allows BKT to expand our OTR footprint in Canada,” says Rajiv Poddar, Jt. Managing Director of Balkrishna Industries “By aligning with Fountain Tire, we are able to serve a growing OTR segment.”

BKT offers a large range of Off-Highway tires specially designed for vehicles in the OTR and agricultural sectors, and it is particularly focused on developing the OTR segment. The company has recently expanded its Radial EARTHMAX lineup by introducing two Giant OTR sizes in 51 and 57 inches. Strengthening its position in the OTR industry is thus strategic for BKT, especially in Canada and the US.

This alliance indeed offers a new distribution channel for BKT Tires Canada, and at the same time it broadens Fountain Tire’s product line, providing an increased selection of OTR Bias and Radial tires. Among other evaluation criteria, BKT was selected as a supplier due to BKT’s large product assortment, more than 2,700 tires in total, excellent manufacturing quality and a deep commitment to innovation.

“Our customers have been asking for a more diverse product range,” says Yves Richard, Senior Director Product & Supply at Fountain Tire. “We’re delighted to have added BKT Tires to our OTR line up in response. Continually evaluating and building upon our offering of quality products and services is a key part of Fountain Tire’s customer service commitment.”

“Fountain Tire is in the business of helping people get there – safely, sustainably and successfully,” says Nelson Tonn, Vice President, Sales and Mine Service at Fountain Tire. “The addition of BKT OTR tires to our product lineup allows us to support the diverse needs of our customers in mining, oil and gas and construction.”
