Blackburn Original Equipment Manufacturer Wheel Solutions continues to expand and has acquired another large facility in Macedonia, Ohio.

The company has relocated its corporate office to the new building – located at 1001 Paster Court – which provides essential office and warehouse space, along with additional shipping and receiving docks.

Blackburn co-owner Torrey Blackburn said, “Purchasing this facility enables us to meet the needs of our growing staff and improve our internal efficiencies.

“This acquisition will strengthen our position as a leader in the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) wheel industry and improve our outstanding customer service.”

Later ordering available

Blackburn customers will now be able to take advantage of a later order cutoff time, which has been put back to 6:15pm EST. All wheels ordered before 6:15pm will ship the same day.

Todd Deranek, Blackburn’s director of sales and marketing, said the increased number of shipping docks mean trailers can be staged and loaded throughout the day, so they can fulfill more orders, more quickly.

“The additional space has given us the opportunity to house more product, especially the highly demanded parts,” he added.

Customer service extended

Blackburn’s customer service is also getting a boost; customer help phone lines are now open longer, from 8am to 6:30pm Monday through Friday and from 8am to 2pm on Saturday.

Deranek said Blackburn continuously strived to improve its range of inventory of center caps, hubcaps and wheels (steel, alloy, chrome and chrome clad) so we may see some new products coming through soon.
