TBC Corporation (“TBC”), a leader in the mobility industry and one of North America’s largest marketers of automotive replacement tires through wholesale and franchise operations, has unveiled the all-new Encounter AT2 all-terrain tire. This update from the Encounter AT is part of the Sumitomo Highway All-Season SUV/LT portfolio and includes more than 50 sizes designed for CUVs, SUVs, pickup trucks and small commercial last-mile delivery vans. All are marketed and distributed exclusively by TBC Corporation in the United States and Canada.

“TBC customers support diverse audiences with multifaceted needs, so it’s critical that we continue to meet their demands by offering a comprehensive selection of options to provide robust market coverage,” said Rachel Tibor, group vice president of wholesale marketing for TBC Corporation. “The Encounter AT2 features cutting-edge updates to provide all-terrain durability and exceptional all-season drivability – even during severe weather conditions. We’re excited to provide even more value to our customers with this latest enhancement to the Sumitomo Tires line.

The Encounter AT2 features:

A non-directional, 4-rib tread design to optimize mud and snow performance while providing enhanced durability and resistance to wear and tear.
3D wave sipes to enhance traction and performance in snow, mud and other soft surfaces
Deep circumferential grooves to boost wet grip performance and provide superior wear life.
An optimized tread pattern to stabilize handling and steering response for a smoother, quieter ride.
Variable-width shoulder lugs that remove rocks, sand, and other debris for superior off-road grip.
Certified for severe weather conditions with the Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMSF) and M+S (Mud and Snow) symbols.
