New all-season tire delivers premium comfort, confident handling, and up to a 75,000-mile treadwear warranty for today's crossover and SUV drivers

Kumho Tire U.S.A. today introduced the all-new Crugen GT Pro, an all-season touring tire engineered for today’s increasingly larger, heavier crossovers and SUVs. Designed to deliver premium comfort, confident all-weather performance and one of the highest treadwear warranties in its class, the Crugen GT Pro expands Kumho's lineup to meet evolving consumer demand. Launching in 85 sizes covering more than 85% of today's crossover and SUV market, the Crugen GT Pro delivers broad fitment for today's most popular vehicles.

“As crossovers and SUVs continue to dominate new vehicle sales, today’s drivers expect replacement tires that combine long tread life, ride comfort and confident all-weather capability,” said Shawn Denlein, president of sales and marketing for Kumho Tire U.S.A. “Crugen GT Pro was engineered to deliver the premium performance today's drivers demand at an exceptional value that Kumho is known for.”

Longer Life, Greater Efficiency

The Crugen GT Pro utilizes Kumho's K-Maxmile technology and a next-generation tread compound to improve wear resistance by up to 20% compared to its predecessor. An optimized contact patch promotes even wear, helping maximize tread life and improve long-term performance. Extensive real-world and laboratory testing enabled Kumho to confidently back the tire with a 75,000-mile treadwear warranty for H- and V-speed rated models, and a 65,000-mile treadwear warranty for W-speed rated models.

Engineered for a Quieter, More Comfortable Ride

Kumho's K-Noise Defender technology incorporates resonance-reducing elements within the tread design to reduce noise by up to 0.8 dB, creating a quieter driving experience without compromising performance. Rounded tread block edges further reduce road noise while helping absorb road impacts for a smoother, more comfortable ride.

Confidence in Every Season

Designed for year-round driving, the Crugen GT Pro incorporates Kumho's K-Sipe Control technology to improve wet braking, handling and light-snow traction. Wave-shaped sipes increase tread block rigidity for enhanced stability, while wider lateral grooves and Dual Performance Block Technology help improve wet braking and resist hydroplaning.

Built for Modern Crossovers and SUVs, Including EVs

Engineered to handle the increased weight of today's large SUVs, the Crugen GT Pro features reinforced shoulder blocks and an optimized tread design with a zigzag pattern for enhanced stability, dry-road grip, and confident high-speed handling while helping reduce wheel slip during hard acceleration. Crugen GT Pro is also EV-compatible, delivering flexibility across both electric and traditional gas-powered vehicles.

Broad Wheel Size Fitment

Available in 85 sizes ranging from 16 to 22 inches, Crugen GT Pro covers more than 85% of today's crossover and SUV market. The lineup includes an extensive selection of 20- through 22-inch fitments to meet growing demand for larger wheel sizes.

Availability

Crugen GT Pro will begin shipping to authorized Kumho Tire retailers nationwide in August and will be available to consumers beginning in September.
