CMA, LLC and Double Coin have added two 29-inch sizes to the Double Coin REM2 off-the-road (OTR) tire lineup, giving dealers who serve construction, mining and quarry customers more fitment options in a dual-rated E3/L3 radial.

The update introduces the 775/65R29 and reinstates the 875/65R29. Together, the two sizes widen the range of articulated dump trucks (ADTs), loaders and scrapers the REM2 can be fitted to in demanding job-site conditions.

One 29-inch tire for haulage and loading

Both sizes carry the E-3**/L-3** rating, so a single 29-inch tire can cover both haulage and loader applications. The additions sit alongside the REM2's existing range of 25-inch E3/L3 sizes, which the company says gives customers more flexibility to match tires to a wider variety of machine specifications and operating conditions.

Cara Junkins, director of OTR, said the dual rating is meant to make life simpler for those who buy and stock these tires.

This helps streamline purchasing and inventory management for tire dealers, quarry operators, and mine managers while providing a versatile solution for demanding off-the-road applications.

For North American dealers handling earthmoving and quarry accounts, that means one 29-inch REM2 part can be quoted for both a haul unit and a loader, rather than sourcing separate tires for each role.

More large OTR sizes on the way

Double Coin officials said additional large radial OTR (ROTR) sizes in other Double Coin models are slated to be announced in the fourth quarter of 2026 and the first quarter of 2027.

Double Coin has been marketed in the U.S. since 1992 and sells to distributors, truck stops and servicing dealers across North America. Its tires are supplied by CMA, LLC, a Monrovia, Calif.-based subsidiary of Double Coin Tyre Group. The product range covers truck and bus radial tires and radial OTR tires, which are used in OEM fitments for major North American transportation and construction equipment manufacturers. Many of the Double Coin tires sold in the U.S. are SmartWay Verified.
