Balkrishna Industries Ltd. (BKT) unveiled new tires in four of their more productive tire lines recently. Three new tires were announced for the ATV/UTV market and are the W207, Bog Max, and Sierra Max. The heavy industry market will see the addition of the Earth Max SR 35.

Earth Max tire lineup receives new addition

BKT’s Earth Max is designed for heavy equipment such as earthmovers, articulated dump trucks, and tractors. The Earth Max SR 35 is the first tire for industrial equipment with a tire in the 65 Series, the 750/65R25. BKT says the tire is engineered with a cut-resistant compound that delivers maximum life. The SR 35 is described by BKT as “a low-profile, all-steel radial tire that is specifically designed for articulated dump trucks and loaders.” This June will be the tenth anniversary of the Earth Max line-up, which BKT is expanding to keep abreast of industry developments and the demands of consumers.

Due to major growth in the ATV/UTV segment of the tire market, BKT has come out with the W207 tire. The W207 is an ATV tire that, according to BKT, has a design that “provides the best traction in any condition while the ‘E’ marking allows the use on public roads. This tire features an excellent puncture resistance over challenging terrains.” The tire is available in 31 sizes from AT 22 X 11-8 up to AT 28 X 12-12.

Bog Max makes the mud bogger happy

Although any tire designed for the ATV/UTV market will work for mud bogging, there is a special class of tires that is designed specifically for bogging and aids the bogger quite a bit. BKT’s addition to this segment of the tire market is the Bog Max, a six-ply extra durable tire. BKT says “The very deep traction pattern ensures excellent traction in extremely wet and muddy conditions, whereas the sidewall protectors reduce impacts and possible damages. It also features a cut- and chip-resistant tread compound and outstanding self-cleaning properties. The Bog Max is available in two sizes: AT 30 X 10-14 and AT 32 X 10-14

BKT says: “These tires have a unique tread design for superior traction in a wide array of soil conditions. The grip is perfect for desert, dirt, and rocky conditions. Its radial construction provides a significantly smoother and more comfortable ride over extreme terrains such as deserts, or dirty and rocky surfaces.”
