ASA adds new Carfax tools to TireMaster software

ASA customers that are myCarfax Service Shops can now access Carfax Service History Check, QuickVIN and other features through their TireMaster software, giving them quicker and better access to information to boost their business.

Carfax Service History Check offers shops VIN-specific maintenance details with access to more than four billion Carfax service records, helps technicians identify unperformed maintenance by listing service information and alerts them to the last reported service date for many preventative maintenance services. With Carfax QuickVin, service writers can retrieve the year/make/model and vehicle identification number (VIN) of their customers’ cars simply by entering the license plate number.

This information reduces cycle time and parts-ordering errors, enables technicians to make better maintenance recommendations, finds opportunities to increase the average repair order price, and builds trust with customers.

Shops enrolling their customers with the myCarfax.com desktop or mobile app service are automatically saved as that customer's favorite shop – a feature to help build customer loyalty. The myCarfax.com service sends reminders when oil changes, tire rotations and other maintenance items are due and being saved as a customer's favorite shop helps keep them coming back.

ASA Automotive to showcase at SEMA

The company will showcase its latest TireMaster software and new features, including G4 Mobile Point of Sale application and Texting Options, at this year’s SEMA Show in Las Vegas. It means reps can help customers in the shop, parking lot, or in the field, and can easily locate customer history and information, look up inventory quantities, and create estimates, wherever they are.

ASA will also demonstrate the power of texting through TireMaster’s new texting feature. Text messages or SMS are quickly becoming the preferred method of choice for customers to send and receive information. The latest update to TireMaster and TireMaster Enterprise makes it easy for businesses to create and schedule text and email alerts to improve their bottom line. Dealers can automate texts to customers with appointment reminder to reduce no shows, car "ready for pickup" alerts to improve turnover, reminders to reschedule missed appointments and special offers.
