Alliance, a leading global brand of agricultural and off-highway tires under Yokohama-ATG, is proud to announce a historic milestone: the sale of 1 million Agri Star II tires worldwide. This achievement underscores the tire’s performance, innovative design, and growing popularity among farmers and agricultural professionals across the globe.

Launched in 2020, Agri Star II has quickly become a game-changer in the agricultural tire market, offering unmatched durability, traction, and roadability. Designed with farmers in mind, the tire’s advanced features, including its unique Stratified Layer Technology (SLT), have set new standards for performance and longevity in the field.

“This milestone is a testament to the trust and confidence that farmers and agricultural professionals have placed in Agri Star II,” said Angelo Noronha, President & CEO of Yokohama-ATG. “Reaching 1 million tires sold is not just a number—it’s a reflection of the tire’s ability to meet the real-world challenges of modern farming. We are incredibly proud of this achievement and grateful to our customers for making it possible.”

The Agri Star II: Built for Performance and Durability

The Agri Star II was developed in close collaboration with farmers to address their most pressing needs. Its standout feature, Stratified Layer Technology (SLT), ensures consistent performance throughout the tire’s lifespan. Each lug of the tire is designed with two layers of different angles: as the top layer wears down, the bottom layer comes into action, maintaining superior traction even after 40% of the tread is worn.

Key benefits of the Agri Star II include:

Superior traction: Multi-angled lugs provide excellent grip in the field, even in challenging conditions.
Longer Lifespan: A wear-resistant compound and stubble guard protect the tire from damage, ensuring durability over time.
Enhanced Roadability: Overlapping central lugs improve stability and comfort during on-road travel.
Crop Protection: A smooth lug profile and innovative design minimize crop damage during fieldwork.

Available in a wide range of sizes, including the recently introduced 65 Series, the Agri Star II caters to the diverse needs of farmers worldwide. Its ability to perform at speeds of up to 65 km/h (D Speed Rating) further enhances its versatility for both field and road applications.

Given the impressive success of the Agri Star II, Alliance will soon extend its range into further agricultural segments. Keep an eye out this spring for new Agri Star II applications!
