Collaboration brings Michelin’s Smart Predictive Tire solution together with Doran’s tire monitoring technology to help fleets gain greater visibility into tire performance

ATLANTA —September 2, 2026 — Michelin Connected Fleet, a subsidiary of Michelin North America, Inc., and Doran today announced a collaboration integrating Doran's tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) hardware with Michelin's Smart Predictive Tire solution. The solution is available through the Platform Science Virtual Vehicle Marketplace, the first marketplace to carry it.

The collaboration combines Doran’s commercial tire pressure and temperature monitoring hardware with Michelin’s Smart Predictive Tire solution, helping create a more connected tire management experience for fleets. By bringing together tire data, connected vehicle technology and predictive insights, the integrated solution is designed to help fleets improve visibility into tire performance and support more informed maintenance and operational decisions.

The announcement builds on Michelin Connected Fleet’s recent availability of Smart Predictive Tire through the Platform Science Virtual Vehicle Marketplace, expanding the opportunity for fleets to access an integrated software and hardware solution.

"Doran provides the signal, and our Michelin Smart Leak algorithm helps translate tire data into actionable insights that support informed maintenance decisions, "said Willem Moore, President Michelin Connected Fleet. "By providing visibility into potential tire conditions, fleets can evaluate issues sooner and take appropriate action based on their operational needs. Our focus is on delivering information that helps fleets manage their tire assets more effectively and helps to support safe, efficient operations.”

Smart Predictive Tire uses advanced analytics and connected vehicle data, including tire pressure and temperature data, to help fleets proactively identify certain key tire issues to take action before they become costly roadside events, promoting reduced unplanned downtime and supporting more efficient fleet operations.

Doran’s tire monitors and sensors provide digital tire pressure and temperature data that support the Michelin Smart Predictive Tire solution, helping fleets gain greater visibility and access to a more complete connected tire management offering.

“Fleets do not just need more data. They need accurate and reliable information that they can trust to reduce tire related repair and maintenance costs, improve uptime and keep vehicles operating safely.” said Jim Samocki, President of Doran. “By combining Doran’s proven TPMS technology with Michelin’s Smart Predictive Tire solution, fleets can move beyond simply reacting to tire issues and take a more proactive approach to tire maintenance.”

The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to advancing connected fleet technology through partnerships that bring together hardware, software, and data capabilities.
