RNR Tire Express has signed a franchise agreement for a new store in Jamestown, New York, extending a run of expansion that has taken the rent-to-own tire and wheel retailer past 215 locations across North America.

The company said the deal follows recent moves into Canada, Huntsville and Boston. The Jamestown store is planned to open in early 2027.

A local ownership team

The store will be owned and run by Jeff Smith, Matt Radecki, Chris Posey and Dave Parker, who first worked together at House of Television in the early 2000s. Smith and Radecki later co-owned Hometown Rent-to-Own, while Posey and Parker focused on operations and training. The four reunited in 2021 and bring more than 40 years of combined experience in rent-to-own and tire retail. The group plans further stores in Western New York after this first opening.

For over two decades, this community has been our home. This new store is our way of investing in the people who have supported us all these years. What excites us most about RNR is the business model and the leadership behind it. The Suttons built a proven system with people who genuinely want to see their franchisees succeed. Bringing that kind of partnership to Jamestown, alongside the values we've built our careers on, is exactly the opportunity we've been looking for.

— Jeff Smith, Franchise Owner

Jeff is an incredible person and leader and has an inspiring story of perseverance. The way he serves others and the genuine care he has for his team, his customers and the people around him are exactly the qualities we look for in an RNR franchise partner. And as excited as I am to welcome Jeff and his wife and office manager, Naomi to the RNR family, I'm equally excited about the team he's built around him. Matt, Chris and Dave bring tremendous experience and share that same people-first approach. We're proud to have all of them representing RNR in Jamestown and can't wait to see what they build together.

Market backdrop

RNR pointed to strength in both of its core markets: the U.S. tire industry is projected to reach nearly $58 billion in 2026, and the rent-to-own industry, which supports RNR's flexible payment model, generated $11.8 billion in revenue in 2025.
