One Lap of America concluded on Saturday, May 10th with Bridgestone’s ultra-high-performance Potenza RE-71RS tires used by 27 of 82 total teams (33% of the field). In total, Bridgestone Potenza tires were represented on three of the Top 10 Overall Finisher spots, including the first-place winner, and eight out of 10 Class Win categories. Additionally, the first-place overall winner set an event record for the dry skidpad event, while five other Bridgestone drivers set class records on the dry skidpad.
One Lap of America is known as one of the most difficult endurance challenges in the U.S., and each team must use one set tires of their choice to last the entire race. This year’s cross-country event spanned seven days, 3,500 miles and included time attack trials at some of America’s most famous racetracks.
