Nokian Tyres has named one of its board members as the new CEO of the company. Hille Korhonen will take her role as President and Chief Executive on June 1.

Hille Korhonen has more than 20 years of experience in international consumer business and of leading global industrial operations. Before joining Nokian Tyres, Korhonen was a member of the executive team of Fiskars Oyj Abp (2008–2012) and Iittala corporation (2003–2008). Korhonen has worked as CEO of Alko Oy since 2013 and is a Member of the Board of Nokian Tyres plc since 2006. She will not stand for election to Member of the Board for Nokian Tyres in the General Meeting of 2017.
Interim President and CEO, Andrei Pantioukhov will continue in this role until Korhonen assumes her duties. After June 1, 2017 Pantioukhov will continue on as the Executive Vice President of Nokian Tyres plc, General Manager, Russian operations and as member of the Group’s management team.
