Hankook Tire & Technology (Hankook Tire) will serve as the official tire partner and exclusive racing tire supplier for major series operated by Racing America, a U.S.-based motorsports company, under a five-year partnership running from 2027 through 2031. According to the company’s announcement, issued from Seoul on Sept. 29, 2026, the agreement covers racing tire supply and technical support across four major Racing America series.

Signed at Hankook’s Tennessee plant

Hankook signed the agreement with Racing America at its Tennessee plant in the United States on Sept. 25 (local time). Beyond exclusive racing tire supply, the two companies will collaborate in several areas, including technical and engineering support, trackside services and joint marketing initiatives, throughout the partnership period.

Two new series and a renewed Formula ladder

Under the new agreement, Hankook will begin supporting Trans Am, a leading U.S. road racing series, and International GT, a premium sports car racing series. The company will also renew its partnerships with the series on Racing America’s Formula ladder, which Hankook has supported since 2019.

Established in 1966, Trans Am is a historic series with nearly six decades of competition featuring muscle cars, while International GT showcases premium sports cars. Racing America’s Formula ladder is focused on developing the next generation of formula drivers.

Raising the brand’s profile with North American fans

Through the partnership, Hankook plans to showcase the racing tire technology of its global Hankook brand across the North American motorsports scene and further strengthen its position as a premium brand. The company says it will expand engagement with local fans through exclusive racing tire supply, technical and trackside support, and a range of marketing activities, including event branding, digital and broadcast exposure, and social media.

A global motorsport footprint

Hankook Tire supplies racing tires and supports racing teams at more than 70 motorsports events worldwide. These include the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC), one of the world’s premier motorsports competitions, organized by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA). In North America, Hankook is also expanding its premium brand presence through partnerships with major events, including the off-road racing event King of the Hammers.
