Bridgestone announced that its Turanza EL450 tire with run-flat technology (RFT) will be supplied as original equipment on the new Lexus UX crossover vehicle. The Lexus UX was unveiled during the 88th International Geneva Motor Show in March 2018, and will be on display at the 2018 New York International Auto Show beginning March 30, 2018.
The Turanza EL450 tire to be equipped on the Lexus UX features a new tread rubber compound developed exclusively for this vehicle. This compound enables the tires to contribute to the luxurious driving sensation,superior steering responsiveness and driving stability that Lexus UX users want, while still offering the extended mobility of a run-flat tire.
