Atturo Tire has a deep motorsports history across a wide variety of disciplines and classes. Since its inception in 2009, Atturo has always believed that the best way to prove a tire’s worth is by putting it through the trials and tribulations of motorsports. For the last 5 years, Atturo has done exactly that in partnership with Abd Motorsports, and they are doing it again in 2023!
Atturo Tire Corp. is excited to announce today at the 2022 Performance Racing Industry Show that they are continuing their partnership with off-road racer Edwin Abd with a collaboration that will support Abd’s racing efforts in ‘Ultra4’, ‘Best in The Desert’, and ‘SCORE INTERNATIONAL’. Abd will be racing on Atturo’s 40×13.5R17 Trail Blade BOSS: Green Label Non-D.O.T. Competition Tires.
“Edwin has been a strong partner for Atturo both on and off the racecourse for the last 5 years,” said Collin Mikottis, Brand Experience Specialist, Atturo Tire Corp. “We are looking forward to continuing that relationship through 2023 with additional support to help expand Edwin’s racing efforts into ‘Best in The Desert’ and ‘SCORE INTERNATIONAL’, these are the types of races that show the durability and performance of Atturo’s toughest products.”
“I’m excited to once again be partnered with Atturo for the 2023 Race Season, especially when it comes to some of the new races we are working on planning for this year,” said Edwin Abd, Owner, and Driver for Abd Motorsports. “After running Atturo Tires since 2019, I have the confidence of knowing that these tires are ready to tackle anything I can throw at them, I truly believe these are one of the tires available for off-roading”.
Abd’s first race will be the annual ‘King of The Hammers’ race in Johnson Valley on February 11th, he will be competing in the 4400 “Unlimited” class against a field stacked with competition. Abd hopes to finish what most refer to as “The Toughest Single-Day Race in the World” in 2023. He will also be competing in select Best in The Desert and SCORE INTERNATIONAL races in 2023 as well as the entire ‘Nor-Cal Rock Racing’ Series.
