What to expect at the SEMA Show this November
It’s nearing that time again when the SEMA Show brings together the automotive industry, its innovators and individuals for its annual four-day trade event in Las Vegas.
From November 1 to 4, the Las Vegas Convention Center will be transformed into the most exciting automotive specialty products trade event in the world, featuring educational seminars, product demonstrations, special events, networking opportunities and more.
New tire products on display
The 2016 SEMA Show is expected to draw more than 60,000 domestic and international buyers and showcase more than 2,500 new products over 35,000 sq. ft. Hundreds of exhibitors from all areas of the automotive world will attend, including tire companies BFGoodrich, Cooper Tire, Continental, Nexen, Pirelli and Toyo.
One of the main attractions will be the New Products Showcase — a collection of new and signature products from exhibitors from markets all over the specialty equipment industry and a place where exhibitors can reach buyers and the media with the year’s most exciting products. The must-see Hottest New Vehicles of 2016, as voted by SEMA exhibitors, will also be revealed on opening day.
The newest innovations in Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality video will give attendees the opportunity to experience fully immersive automotive-themed demonstrations and 360-degree video and to learn how the technology can be applied to all areas of automotive aftermarket product sales, marketing and development. This includes seeing 3D holograms of parts floating off the catalog pages and choosing the body color, racing stripes, wheels/tires and other modifications on a full-size sports car that comes to “life.”
