Sumitomo Rubber announced it will bring Falken and Dunlop tires at the 2019 Tokyo Auto Salon from January 11 to 13 at the Makuhari Messe convention center in Chiba Prefecture.
Building on last year’s concept, Falken’s Booth is designed around the theme of “Avant-garde 2.0,” highlighting the always avant-garde activities of the Falken brand. Featuring LED bars placed at varying angles to create a sense of thrill, the booth fully expresses Falken’s brand concept: “ON THE PULSE.”
The booth will also emphasize Falken’s image as a high-performance brand that offers tires in a wide range of sizes through displays of Falken’s latest tire lineup alongside vehicles that use their flagship AZENIS FK510 and other Falken tires as their factory standard tires, all decked out in FALKEN brand colors.
Designed around the theme of “Spirit of Evolution,” this year’s Dunlop Booth highlights Dunlop’s advanced technology over the years, tracing the evolution of Dunlop from past to present and into the future.
Dunlop’s booth will also feature stage events such as a talk show with Satoru Nakajima of Team Nakajima Racing, who competed in yet another intense SUPER GT500 in 2018, as well as other pro drivers who participated in the Japanese Rally Championship, the FIA Formula 4 and other exciting motor sports tournaments.
