Sumitomo Rubber Industries announced that Falken Tires and Dunlop will showcase their new products at Tokyo Auto Salon 2018 from January 12-14 in Chiba Prefecture.
Falken’s Booth was designed around the theme of “Avant-Garde-Eschew Common Thinking. It will feature displays of the Falken Motorsports BMW M6 GT3 racecar that competed in the 2017 24-Hours Nurburgring endurance race (on display in Japan for the first time ever) as well as a scale model of the race plane piloted by Team Falken’s Yoshihide Muroya as he soared to victory to become the series champion of the 2017 Red Bull Air Race World Championship. The company says they will promote their image as a youthful and energetic brand in addition to their latest lineup of high-performance Falken Tires.
Designed around the theme of “Lasting Relationships Are Proof of Trust,” this year’s Dunlop Booth will feature displays highlighting the History of Dunlop and the many advanced technologies that Dunlop has produced throughout its 130 years of existence, as well as examples of our latest cutting-edge technical capabilities. In addition, the booth will also feature stage events such as a talk show with professional race drivers sponsored by Dunlop, including members of NAKAJIMA Racing, the team that won Round 6 of the 2017 AUTOBACS SUPER GT in the GT500 Class.
